Share with X (formerly known as Twitter) may not work

We've overhauled the way you share article Stories to make it more reliable, and as part of that, sharing directly to X (formerly Twitter) without going through the 'Link' share route is back and easier than ever.

Due to recent changes by X (formerly known as Twitter), you may not be able to automatically share your publication page on Kudos on Twitter.

To keep sharing your publication on X, you can manually share by following these instructions:

1. Open the edit page for the publication on Kudos you'd like to share. You can easily get to this for any of your publications from your Kudos Hub.
2. Scroll down to the Share section.
3. Choose Link as the channel to share your work on.
4. Select Twitter as the share label from the drop down menu that appears, then press Generate Link.
5. Your trackable link appears. Press the Copy Link button.
6. Paste the copied link into a new tweet on the X website or app.

Kudos will track clicks links shared to X manually, but will not provide a link to the post you created in your publication metrics. If you share to X frequently, you can set a descriptive share label by choosing Type your own label… when creating your link.
